TEACHING ASSISTANT

Grade 3 Point 16

 We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.  This term time post is temporary for one year, in the first instance.  The position is to support a male pupil with personal needs primarily, and also children with a variety of learning difficulties and some physical disabilities.  A knowledge of manual handling procedures would be advantageous.

 

Corpus Christi is an over-subscribed Catholic 11-16 mixed comprehensive school of over 1000 pupils housed in buildings on the edge of Cardiff.  Examination results are well above national average. 

 

Additional Needs provision at Corpus Christi has increased substantially in recent years and the department is continually developing.  If appointed, you will join a very successful and thriving department.

PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Required as soon as possible

3 days per week (5 hours per day)

Term time only

Grade 2   Point 8      (£16,626 pro-rata)

This position is temporary for one year in the first instance.

 

Applications are welcomed for this busy, interesting and varied post in the reception office to start as soon as possible.  Three days per week, 5 hours per day and is term-time only. 

 

You should possess a welcoming manner, good word processing, organisational and communication skills,   Knowledge of the SIMS package would be desirable although not essential as training will be given.  The successful applicant will join a happy and effective administrative team.

TECHNICIAN TO D&T DEPARTMENT

Required as soon as possible

Temporary for one year in the first instance

Three days per week

Grade 3 Point 11 (£15,807 pro-rata)

 

We would like to fill this post in our friendly and successful Design & Technology Department as soon as possible.  The post is for three days per week, term time only.

 

Candidates should have a working knowledge of ICT – in particular design packages, Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacture, eg. laser cutting and 3D printing.  Some knowledge of materials is an advantage along with the ability to provide basic machine maintenance.  Knowledge of audio visual equipment would also be advantageous, although training will be given.
